Is this ammo reliable for carry?
Yes. This is a purpose-built defensive load. Our staff notes it runs flawlessly in standard-pressure 115gr and 124gr firearms. We recommend testing a minimum of 50 rounds in your specific pistol to confirm reliability.
How does it perform with heavier subsonic loads?
Based on our handling, this specific 115gr load is not subsonic. We had one reported hiccup when a customer tried it in a pistol tuned exclusively for 147gr subsonic ammunition. For standard pistols, its function is excellent.
Is the nickel-plated case necessary?
