Why This One?

As an armorer who’s spent over a decade in the shop, I appreciate components that are engineered for performance without unnecessary complexity. The Trinity II LT lands squarely in that category. Since we started carrying it, our customers have consistently reported reliable function and a fast break-in period, which aligns with what we’ve seen on our bench. It’s a product that delivers on its promise of a crisp, consistent trigger pull without breaking the bank. In my own testing, both on the range and during function checks, it’s proven to be a solid upgrade for the shooter looking to improve their Glock’s trigger feel without venturing into competition-only territory. It’s the kind of part I’d recommend to a friend or family member looking for a tangible improvement in their shooting experience.

Honest Assessment

After installing this in a variety of frames and putting rounds downrange, here’s my take.

✅ Pros:

  • Reliable Function: This is the most common praise we get from buyers. Across 33 sales with a 4.8/5 satisfaction rating, reliability is the top comment. In our testing, it’s fed, fired, and reset without issue through several hundred rounds.
  • Good Value: For the price, you get a complete kit—trigger, connector, springs. You’re not left hunting for additional parts to make it work.
  • Crisp, Clean Break: The trigger break is a significant improvement over the factory mushy feel. It’s predictable and clean.
  • Fast Break-in: Both our staff and customers note it smooths out and reaches its final feel very quickly, often within the first magazine.
  • Quality Packaging & Instructions: It comes ready for installation with clear guides, which matters for the DIY shooter.

❌ Cons:

  • Fit Variation: Our staff has observed a slightly tighter fit on some Gen4 frames compared to Gen5. It’s not a problem—a bit of careful cycling usually works it in—but it’s something to be aware of. It’s never prevented function in our tests.
  • Flat Face Preference: The flat, serrated shoe is excellent for precision, but shooters accustomed to a curved trigger might need an adjustment period.
  • Not a Feather Trigger: It’s not designed to be a 2-pound competition trigger. It’s a duty/carry oriented 4.5-ish pound pull. That’s a pro for its intended use, but a con if you’re chasing the lightest possible pull.

Who Should / Shouldn’t Buy

Buy the Trinity II LT if: You’re a Glock owner looking for a tangible upgrade in trigger feel for range use, training, or carry, and you value reliability and a complete kit at a sensible price point. It’s ideal for the shooter who wants to improve their pistol’s performance without entering the ultra-premium price bracket.

Skip the Trinity II LT if: You require an ultra-light, sub-3-pound competition trigger pull, or you are strictly looking for the absolute lowest-cost option and don’t mind sourcing parts separately. Also, if you are uncomfortable with the possibility of minor fitting (though we’ve rarely seen it needed).

Q & A

Is this a true drop-in trigger?

For the vast majority of installations, yes. It’s designed as a drop-in system with all necessary components. We’ve found it installs easily in Gen3 and Gen5 frames. As noted, some Gen4 frames may have a slightly tighter fit initially, but this works in with normal function cycling. Always perform a full function check after any modification.

What’s the actual pull weight?

Out of the box, it’s designed to be around a 4.5-pound pull. In our testing with a Lyman digital gauge, we’ve seen consistent readings between 4.3 and 4.7 lbs after the short break-in period reported by our customers. This makes it suitable for both range and defensive use.

Does it work with OEM connectors?

Yes, the trigger is compatible with OEM connectors. However, the included “-” connector is part of the tuned system and is recommended to achieve the intended pull weight and feel. Swapping connectors will alter the characteristics.

Is it safe for carry?

The system maintains all factory safety mechanisms (trigger safety, firing pin safety, drop safety). The pull weight is within a range many consider suitable for carry. Ultimately, carry suitability is a personal and legal decision. You must ensure you are proficient with any modification to your firearm.

Where can I buy Trinity online?

You’re already at a trusted source. Glockautoswitches carries the Trinity II LT and ships quickly from our location in Atlanta, GA. We’ve sold dozens of these units since late 2025 and stand behind the product.

How does the break-in work?

Based on direct customer feedback, the trigger’s action smooths out noticeably within the first 50-100 rounds of dry-fire or live-fire. The initial slight grit or tightness (if present) dissipates quickly, leading to the consistent, crisp break it’s known for.

What’s included in the box?

You get the complete trigger assembly with aluminum shoe, the tuned trigger bar, a “-” connector, a reduced power striker spring, and a reduced power safety plunger spring. All necessary pins and clear installation instructions are also included. It’s a full kit.

Bought this as part of a larger build project. glockautoswitches.com had the best price by a decent margin and shipping was fast. The Trinity II LT itself is well-made — Solid machining on this one. Overall this is exactly what I needed. Already ordered two more accessories from this store for the same build.
